Melina got her passport, so she is ready to head to Germany in August to see Omi and Tante Karen (and many others). The airline ticket prices were really high this year but the time in Germany is always worth it. Melina will be 11 months old when we go. Nike is heading over with Melina first, and then I join about a week later. She doesn't have her own seat, so we are hoping to get seats right behind the bulkhead where fold down bassinets are available. Unfortunately they can't be reserved ahead of time, we just need to check in very early and request the seats. Hopefully the volcano in Iceland will have calmed down by then!
We moved from Knoxville to Portland, and are now using our blog to let our friends and family know what's up!
