It's been very cold here due to some artic air. Yesterday, it stayed in the 20s all day with some very strong wind ... BRRR! On the weekend, Dave and I went to the Holiday Ale Festival with two friends (nothing like a cold beer on a chilly December evening). My mom took the MAX downtown with us and then went to the museum with Melina. We also spent this weekend setting up the Christmas tree and decorating the house. Next weekend is our Annual Cookie Party (WISH YOU COULD BE THERE!!) so we have to pick some recipies.
Melina has been a real bundle of joy with her smiles and coos. She has pretty good control of her head now and soon she'll be able to push herself up with her arms when lying on her tummy.
Classes start on January 4 and since Dave is now working full time, we have to put Melina in daycare. We've finally decided on a place but the thought to leave her there all day breaks my heart!! I hope this won't be too hard on all of us...
