The weather forecast for this weekend was very good so we decided to take a trip to the coast on Sunday. We headed straight west to Cannon Beach, where Haley got to run around in the sand and Melina enjoyed her first walk in the baby carrier. After lunch at a brew pub, we headed north to Astoria, which is right at the border to Washington. Unlike Cannon Beach, Astoria is not a beach town but has the feel of a harbor town. There are beautiful Victorian houses and we had a great view from the Astoria Column.
