Moving

I just got out of a department meeting, where it was announced that we might be moving into a new space summer 2010. Right now, we are housed in an older 3-story building. A while ago, one of my colleagues talked to the fire marshall, who was inspecting the fire extinguisher near her office. She said: "I'm glad you're doing this." He replied: "I have to. This building is a death trap." So a move might be a good thing, even though the building has a lot of character.
