T-Shirt

Yesterday, one of my students was wearing a t-shirt that said: "The Germans were supporting their troops too." I am really offended by this...

Gah!I'm not even sure what that means. That by supporting troops in the middle east we are supporting a holocaust? That no Germans stood up to Hitler? That believing in a military force and understanding why some young people choose the military is somehow wrong? That all Germany history can be reduced to WWII? It's all awful. Sorry you had to see it.
