Two Weeks Old

Yesterday, Melina turned two weeks old, a milestone that was marked by seeing the pediatrician. She's gained over one pound since the last appointment! To weigh her, we had to undress her and take her diaper off. Melina had great timing and peed right then. What is it about fresh air hitting that part of the body!?
The day remained eventful with Annabelle stopping by to meet Melina and then Kurt had dinner with us. Actually, Melina was mostly oblivious to the visitors but Haley was super excited. Kurt is in town for business and we got a pizza from Papa Murphey's (the kind you bake at home). We didn't quite dare meet him at a restaurant since we haven't been out with Melina yet.
The other day, I went on a little outing to Target. It felt really good to get out of the house. I left right after nursing and had about two hours. I didn't buy anything exciting (hand lotion, nursing bra...) but it aleveated my cabin fever.
