- Dave has a cold and Melina caught something too. Luckily, she only got hoarse, no fever and she seems to be feeling fine. Dave stayed home with her on Wednesday just in case. Good thing he's that flexible and can work from home most of the time. On my teaching days, I simply can't stay home. Melina's hoarseness is mostly gone but Dave's cold isn't. I hope he feels better soon and that I get spared.
- I saw a coyote in our neighborhood this morning when I left for work. Big one too.
- It's amazing how much Melina has developed since my mom left after Christmas. She's gotten much better about holding on to objects and putting them in her mouth (gotta suck on everything). She's also working on grasping objects. Since she's pretty good about holding her head, Melina can now sit in her exersaucer (see picture) and bumbo chair. Not too long though because it's pretty good exercise for her and she gets worn out.
- It's Friday and a long weekend for me. Dave probably has to work.
