On Sunday evening, Dave and I headed to a free big band concert in the amphitheater of the Rose Garden. The weather was perfect and we packed some bread, tuna salad and pimento cheese for a picnic.
It was a great atmosphere so we'll probably be back Thursday for a concert by Kate Davis. We first heard about her on a local PBS art show and have been wanting to see her perform for a while. We'll also pack a better picnic next time. People around us had brought a lot of good food - Dave got a little jalous when he saw the homemade cookies our neighbors had.
