The farmers' market and downtown

This weekend, Dave and I took the bus downtown to explore the city a bit more. We walked along the river and tried to remember the names of all the bridges. Welcome to Bridgetown!

At the waterfront, they were setting up for the big Race for the Cure the next day that about 45,000 people participated in. We figured it would be a big race when we saw the number of part-a-potties lining the street.
Then we enjoyed happy hour at a restaurant at the river. I had heard about the great happy hours here, there are even guide books! Dave and I split a fish sandwich for $1.95!!! That got our mind off UT's embarrassing loss to Florida.
On Sunday, we headed to the Hillsdale farmers' market. The variety of veggies and fruit is absolutely amazing. They also sell cheese, fish, meat, bread, flowers and plants and there is live music.

Hey, we have lots of bridges here, too!

Now THAT looks like a proper farmer's market, indeed.
