One block from our house is the very large (90 acre) Gabriel Park. Nike and I walk Haley there daily, and there are always a lot of walkers, joggers, dogs, and kids. On weekday mornings I often see a group of 15-20 women, all of whom have strollers who gather to exercise and jog. Usually 2 or 3 women watch all the babies, while the group jogs/walks various loops.
There are several trails in the park, along with baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, a skateboard park, beach volleyball, and our favorite - the off-leash dog park. Haley really enjoys running in the dog park, although she sometimes needs to calm down a bit and show some better manners. The park also includes a dense wooded section and a community garden (see next post). Here are some pictures from this morning (Saturday).
