Today, I was on campus to go to HR and get my ID, keys and computer account. I was delighted to find out that PSU offers a discounted Trimet pass, the public transportation system: it's only $37 per month before taxes for all zones - that's over 50% off the regular price! I plan to always take the bus to campus - there are two bus lines I can choose from with stops only 1 and 3 blocks from our house. Both take me straight to the downtown campus in ca. 20 minutes.
East Hall: my office is on the 2nd floor
(rumor has it that a ghost lives in this former dorm...spooky)
How do I get my exercise now that I can't walk up to the 7th floor to my office any more? Wait, the building doesn't have an elevator so we have to carry my many boxes up to my office. Did I just complain it was only on the 2nd floor!?

Wow, it all looks and sounds great. And you can think of the ghost as easy company until you make a lot of friends. And I really envy a 20 minute bus ride. I guess the actually time I spend on the bus is close to 20 minutes but it still takes 45 to get to work!
It's all good so far, but we miss you guys!
