We've been unable to get the car out of the driveway or catch a bus (not running) for about 5 days, but that (like the Grinch) couldn't stop Christmas from coming. I hiked to a local food co-op and brought back steak, salmon, potatoes, green beans, and good beer for our Christmas dinner (which was very good). On Christmas Eve, we opened the presents that Santa had been able to deliver and we've also been watching some Christmas movies and playing dominoes.
Today the thaw is starting, so Nike and Ingrid hope to catch some post-Xmas sales downtown and I will join them for dinner (if the bus runs like it is supposed to!). We hope all our family and friends are enjoying a great holiday.
