Rainy Halloween

The rain is here. Pretty bleak outlook when I turned on my computer this morning:

I guess we can't complain since the last weeks have treated us with beautiful fall weather.

The bus driver greeted me with "Happy Halloween" this morning and there were even a few riders in costumes. Our office staff is dressed up too. Originally, Dave and I wanted to watch "The Shining" tonight since we just visited Timerline Lodge that was used for some outside shots in the movie. But we were unable to get a copy - we checked several video stores. We're expecting a slow night of trick-or-treaters, nothing like the 250 or so kids that came through our neighborhood in Knoxville. We counted them on year and decided to hide the next year.
