We had lunch at Vita Cafe and absolutely loved their food! Dave had a tempeh reuben sandwich and I ordered the buffalo tofu wrap. The tofu was amazing: super crunchy, just like the texture of fried chicken. We'll definitely be back, especially to sample their breakfast fare. We were pretty hungry when we got there and were drooling over our neighbors' pancakes while we were waiting for our food.
We moved from Knoxville to Portland, and are now using our blog to let our friends and family know what's up!

Northeast Portland
On Sunday, we explored Northeast Portland and really liked it: losts of cute older houses. We also checked out where Kathy and Kurt used to live. This would definitely be a nice area to live but the commute to the tech companies in the western suburbs of Beaverton and Hillsborough would be horrible.
Afterwards, we went to Alberta Park with Haley (she had been waiting patiently in the car while we ate) to continue exposing her to new places. Maybe I'm too optimistic but it would be nice to take her hiking with us. Of course, she'd have to be A LOT LESS excited for us to enjoy the hike.

Hey - I heard you sold your house - CONGRATS!! Perhaps you are house hunting there now..?
Yes we did. We're renting a house for a year, so we probably won't start serious house hunting till next spring.
